Visitor Information for The Cedar Crest Campus

Parking, Elevators, Shuttle Service, Visiting Hours

Cedar Crest - MedEvac Parking

Visitors and patients must either park in the parking deck or use our free valet service.

  • To reduce wait times for valet users, parking Lot D (in front of the Anderson Wing) will be reserved for valet cars only
  • Bright yellow signs will be posted near the information booth along the ring road directing patients and visitors to the parking deck and the valet area
  • Valet parking will be provided 24-hours a day, seven days a week
  • Shuttles will run in a continuous loop from the parking deck, to the 1210 building, to the hospital's main entrance. Wait times will be minimal.
  • A second golf cart has been be added. The cart will run along the upper level of the Jaindl Pavilion between the elevators and the JDMCC door closest to the atrium. This entrance is a good alternative for patients and visitors going to the 1210 building, the Heart Care Group or visiting a patient in the Jaindl Pavilion.
  • Handicapped visitors and patients are encouraged to use valet parking.
  • Patient/Visitor parking lots located in the rear of the hospital near the 1230 building, 1220 building (MRI) and emergency department will remain open to the public.
  • Patients may still be dropped off and picked up at the hospital main entrance.

Elevator Locations

There are three banks of public elevators:
  • Jaindl Family Pavilion elevators to critical care units, Burn Center, the Heart Care Group , Regional Heart Center (ACU, PCU, IPCU), Wound Care Center.
  • Pool Pavilion elevators to patient care units, emergency department, vascular lab, cath and electrophysiology labs.
  • Anderson Pavilion elevators to Open Heart Unit and Transitional Open Heart Unit.

Shuttle Service

Shuttle Service is available from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. indoors, Monday through Friday from the Pool Pavilion at the main entrance of the hospital to the Jaindl Pavilion for easy access to a variety of services.

Visiting Hours

11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

If you find it difficult to come during that time, get permission from the nurse to visit before or after regular visiting hours. Only two visitors are permitted to visit at one time.

For visiting hours at all critical care units and the Center for Mother and Baby Care, please check with the nurse.

Dining

  • Pool Pavilion
    Cafeteria: 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.
    Late Hours: 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., Monday through Friday.
    For a truly delicious meal, our “home cooking” is for you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, salad, soups, short order grill and deli, entrees and freshly baked cookies and desserts are featured daily. Takeout items are available throughout the day.
  • Coffee Cart
    Located in the Jaindl Family Pavilion. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee and baked goods to go along with it. 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Café
    Located in the corridor between the Morgan Cancer Center and Jaindl Family Pavilion. Enjoy breakfast and lunch. 7:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

Gift Shops

Lovely gifts, snacks, newspapers, cards, flowers and plants are available for sale. Patients may order videos, magazines, newspapers and items from the gift shop by calling patient room service at 610-402-7110.
  • Tree Top Gift Shop in the Pool Pavilion
    Open Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • The Pavilion Gift Shoppe
    Located in the Jaindl Family Pavilion
    Open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    Saturday & Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • The Atrium Gift Shop
    Located in the lobby of the Morgan Cancer Center
    Open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

For your convenience, fill your prescriptions before you leave the hospital. Spectrum Pharmacy is located in the Jaindl Family Pavilion, first floor.

You are welcome 24 hours a day for meditation and prayer in our non-denominational chapel. A chaplain is on call at all times. Call 610-402-8465 or page the chaplain on call at 610-402-8999.
